The material 1.4301 is an alloyed stainless steel. It is a frequently used austenitic chromium-nickel steel. Due to its good processing properties and appearance, this grade is used in numerous areas. The material 1.4301 is austenitic, acid-resistant, has good corrosion resistance and very good weldability, good machinability, is deep-drawable, wear-resistant, easy to polish and suitable for low temperatures.
The material 1.4306 is a stainless steel. It is an austenitic chromium-nickel steel with a relatively high proportion of the characteristic alloying elements chromium and nickel. It is far more corrosion-resistant than the comparable material 1.4307. This material is particularly used in the construction of plants for the production of nitric acid and other aggressive acids. The material 1.4306 is austenitic, heat-resistant, cold-tough, and has good corrosion resistance. It is also very easy to forge and weld. Its chemical resistance and polishability are good, but its machinability is rather poor.
The material 1.4313 is a stainless steel. It is a martensitic chromium-nickel steel with good mechanical properties, especially in the high-pressure range. This makes this material very suitable for use in turbine and power plant construction. The material 1.4313 is corrosion-resistant to a medium degree, has medium forgeability, poor to medium weldability and medium machinability. The mechanical properties are very good, and the polishability is good.
The material 1.4401 is a stainless steel. It is an austenitic chromium-nickel-molybdenum steel with good corrosion resistance to acids and chlorine-containing media. Its main application is in the food and chemical industries. The material 1.4401 is austenitic, acid-resistant, cold-forging, and polishable. It has very good corrosion resistance, good forgeability, and good mechanical properties. Weldability is in the medium range.

Its main areas of application are in the chemical industry and medical technology. The material 1.4410 is a chemically resistant, stainless steel, super duplex steel; austenitic/ferritic. It is a duplex steel with a high proportion of the alloying elements chromium, nickel and molybdenum. Due to its excellent corrosion resistance, the material is often used in seawater environments, such as in offshore power plants or seawater desalination plants. The material 1.4410 is very corrosion resistant, has very good chemical resistance, high strength, very good thermal conductivity, good mechanical properties and good weldability.
The material 1.4418 is a chemically resistant, stainless steel; martensitic, acid-resistant, heat-treatable. It is a martensitic chromium-nickel-molybdenum steel with very good mechanical properties. Due to its mechanical and corrosive resistance, this material is used for all types of parts subject to such stress. The material 1.4418 is highly corrosion-resistant, has very good mechanical properties, is very strong, has good chemical resistance, is easy to weld and polish.

The material 1.4547 is an alloyed stainless steel, chemically resistant rust-proof steel with special additives. The material 1.4547 is austenitic, acid-resistant, has good to very good resistance to pitting and stress corrosion cracking as well as good elongation values and weldability.
The material 1.4563 is an alloyed stainless steel, chemically resistant rust-proof steel with special additives. The material 1.4563 is austenitic and has good resistance to corrosive media.
The material 1.4571 is an alloyed stainless steel, chemically resistant rust-proof steel with special additives. It is an austenitic chromium-nickel steel with very good corrosion resistance properties. The material 1.4571 is austenitic and easy to weld. It has very good corrosion resistance, medium mechanical properties, good forgeability and medium to not so good machinability.
